DCBX is the No. 1 US festival featuring world-class latin dancing, concerts, and music. Top technology companies are showcased as part of DCBX Xccelerate component. Each year, more than 6,000 people from over 48 States and 29 plus countries attend the DCBX festival.  Over a three day weekend, another 25,000 people view the broadcast and hundreds of thousands join in the social media conversation.

This year, up to 20 selected companies from across Latin America and the United States will be selected to participate in DCBX Xccelerate through a co-hosting partnership with The Washington DC ArchAngels, one of the nation’s leading angel investment group. We are looking for early stage companies that are seeking funding, distribution channels and a commitment to enter either the Latin American or US markets.  For US companies, the Latin American market in both the US and Central and South America is a large and growing segment of which you should be taking advantage.  Latinos have greater wealth and disposable income than ever before and are looking for the latest in technology and products. For foreign companies, the US market is still the largest and most competitive market for technology anywhere in the world.  Finding an entry point can mean millions of dollars in revenue.

DCBX Xccelerate will provide workshops, seminars, and ticketed events to promote your company.  Many of the attendees are accredited investors or access to businesses and people you need to expand your markets, obtain funding, or obtain a qualified management team.

All interested companies must submit an application and be chosen by DCBX Xccelerate to attend.  If selected, your company may bring up to two people.  Benefits include:

• One booth prominently situated for the 6000+ attendees to view for the full three days of the conference.
• A full day workshop conducted by actual investors on “How to Get the Attention of an Investor.”  This hands-on participatory workshop will cover the basics of entering the US and Latino markets, how to put a valuation on your company, how to negotiate a term sheet, and how to structure your business plan and pitch to attract investment. This is an interactive WORKSHOP conducted by actual investors.
• Your company featured in all DCBX targeted social media.
• “Speed dating” workshop. All companies will be able to pitch their company to at least 20 investors with a two minute face-to-face pitch, and will be ranked to become eligible for Angel Tank..
• “Angel Tank” — The top five rated best companies will be selected and featured on stage in front of all conference participants.
• Opportunities to continue to work with local and national angel investment groups.
• Full admittance to any DCBX event or seminar during the conference.

Costs:  Standard registration fee for a three-day booth is $2500 USD.  SPECIAL COMPANY REGISTRATION: $1895 USD. Because of our sponsorship with the Washington DC ArchAngels, the Registration Fee has been reduced to $1895 USD.  The hotel has reserved rooms at at special rate of $150 per night and is not included in the price.  Roundtrip airfare and meals are not included.
