GIDC is an independent film festival that focuses on cultivating global outreach, celebrating culture, and supporting non-profit organizations. Our mission is to empower lives by celebrating the power of media for social change. We are showcasing short documentary and narrative films that provoke and inspire social change.

*GIDC is brought to you by "DCBX". Other events such as the DC Bachata Congress and Xccelerate Program are also part of DCBX.
*All GIDC Screenings, Panel Discussions and Workshops will take place in the Meeting Room Level of the hotel.
*When arriving at the hotel, please go down one escalator level to the Meeting Room Level. You will then see signs for the "Global Impact Film Festival." Feel free to ask hotel staff where the Meeting Room Level is located as well.
